70th Anniversary Weekend 2 and 3 September

Weimaraner Club of Great Britain Championship Show

Entry 84 dogs making 130 entries plus 21 NFC
Times: Judging will start at 10 am for Dogs. The judging of bitches will commence after lunch
The Special Awards and Puppy Walk will take place during the lunch break
We estimate the lunch break to start at around noon and will be approx 90 mins to allow all the other activities to finish.
Getting to Stoneleigh and parking
Please enter the showground through the main Stoneleigh Gate. Ignore signs to the City of Birmingham Show.
Given the high volume of traffic around the site due to the City of Birmingham Show and a horse show, it is recommended that exhibitors aim to get to the show by 9.30 am to allow plenty of time to walk from the car park.
Please note that the layout of the hall will differ from previous years due to the presence of trade stands etc, so please check before setting up cages etc. There is no entry to the hall before 9.00 am
Car parking – please use the main Kennel Club car park signed to the east of the building, and not the small car park to the south of the Kennel Club Building. This small car park is reserved for trade stands, committee, judges, stewards, helpers and people arriving in the afternoon to set up for Sunday. You will be asked to move as space will be tight.
Picnic
Claire Rodgers and others have kindly agreed to organise a lunch picnic. The table will be open to everyone present at the show.
Anniversary Cake
The Anniversary cake and glasses of bubbly will be served once judged is complete. We estimate this to be around 3 / 3.30 pm
Raffle We will be running a raffle in support of WCGB Rescue and Rehoming. We’ve had a number of generous prizes including our star prize of £50 cash. Please bring your raffle prizes and plenty of cash along. We will be hassling everyone to buy lots of tickets!
SUNDAY 3 SEPTEMBER – FUNDAY
The Funday is based at the Kennel Club Building on the Stoneleigh Showground – see address above
The day is open to all Weimaraner owners and there are plenty of demonstrations and have-a-go activities
The day starts at 10 am with puppy training and behaviour advice
This is followed by agility demo and have a go, canicross have a go, campanion fun dog show, gundog demo and have a go, first aid demo and advice, hoopers demo and have a go, scentwork. There are trade stands and much more
