Thank you to everybody who came on Sunday to join the celebrations.
We hired a large fenced arena close to the Kennel Club Building where we showcased a wide range of activities from agility and hoopers to gundog work, scentwork and canicross. At the Kennel Club Building there there was a fun dog show with lots of prizes on offer. Elsewhere there was ringcraft, puppy training and first aid demonstrations. The weather was lovely, albeit a tad hot in the afternoon
So much was packed into the day. Alongside the demonstrations, there were experts on hand to answer questions and give advice. I think all are agreed on the importance of doing something with your Weim to build the bond and challenge their brain. As I walked round I could hear people asking questions and getting great advice. This is what the day was all about.
A second raffle was run and this raised further funds for rescue. We are still adding up all the donations and raffle money but I think the figure will be excess of £600 which is brilliant and so important as there are quite a few dogs looking for homes at the moment.

I know hours of planning went into delivering this anniversary weekend, there were hundreds of emails and messages whizzing round, last minute hitches etc but it all came right on the day. So many many thanks to the WCGB committee and the members of the working party for all your hard work
